eGrabber is a set of software drivers, tools and applications that enable and simplify the development and debugging of computer vision applications using CoaXPress, Camera Link and GigE Vision cameras. eGrabber includes the driver of Euresys’ Coaxlink and Grablink Duo frame grabbers, a hardware-independent GigE Vision image acquisition library, a high-performance disk video recording library and a user-friendly evaluation and demonstration application. eGrabber features a high-level, object oriented, user-friendly API compatible with multiple programming languages (C++, C# and Python). eGrabber is based on GenICam, it is compatible with GenApi and offers a GenTL interface.

Thanks to the EGrabberBridge class, images acquired within eGrabber can seamlessly be processed by Open eVision image processing libraries.
Open eVision is a set of image analysis libraries and software tools allowing the processing of images for text and code reading, matching and measurements, 3D processing and Deep Learning inspection. eGrabber Bridge gives access to these libraries by ensuring the smooth interfacing with the camera (handshake and data formats).

eGrabber's components are

  • eGrabber Driver: The driver of Euresys’ Coaxlink and Grablink Duo frame grabbers
  • eGrabber Gigelink: An optional library that provides a universal, hardware-independent access to GigE Vision cameras
  • eGrabber Recorder: An optional library of eGrabber that provides video recording services to hard drives
  • eGrabber Memento: An accurate event logging and application profiling tool
  • eGrabber Studio: An evaluation and demonstration application
