Main Mission
Part-time Financial Accountant (20-25 hours/week)
Your responsibilities include:
- Examining, recording, classifying, and posting business transactions of all kinds
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (German Commercial Code – HGB)
- Reconciliation and balancing of accounts (balance sheet and income statement accounts)
- Conducting payment runs
- Handling accounts receivable and accounts payable with monitoring of open items, as well as reconciling general ledger and subledger accounts
- Preparation of VAT advance return and recapitulative statement
- Maintaining and managing the digital time sheet and sending monthly payroll data to the external partner
Education Requirements
- Successful completion of commercial training with work experience in the field of finance and accounting
- High degree of independence, thoroughness, and reliability
- Assertiveness and very good communication skills
- Preferably experienced in dealing with external partners
- Very good German and English language skills both written and spoken
