Role
Euresys Inc., the USA-based subsidiary of Euresys is looking for a motivated and experienced (Senior) Technical Sales Engineer to fulfil a critical role in driving the sales of our products by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and offering solutions tailored to our customers’ unique requirements. You will not only be working with our external partners, our resellers and our direct customers, you will play a key role in supporting the sales efforts of the sales teams of our sister brand companies in the TKH Vision 2D group in the Americas. You will be viewed as the go-to resource for ensuring the success of each of these relationships with your strong technical skills, understanding of market requirements, and your ability to help architect the best fit solutions.
In the end, your success will be measured by the success of your ability to grow Euresys product sales directly and indirectly through our partners, resellers and sister companies in the Americas.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with our direct and indirect customers, both internally and externally
- Provide technical sales guidance and market / application expertise collaboratively with our direct and indirect customers. These customers include our external partners, resellers and direct customers as well as the sales teams and their customers at our sister companies where our products are able to be combined / bundled with those of our sister company products as customer-centric solutions (imaging solutions).
- Identify and prospect new potential enterprise accounts in the US machine vision and computer imaging markets, including market research and product demonstrations for potential customers.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships both internally with sales, technical support, product management and engineering teams; and externally with customer contacts.
- Serve as a business development and technical expert on our product portfolio by providing detailed information, guidance and sales support to our internal and external customers.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and seminars, providing technical insights to potential customers.
- Analyze market data, sales trends and customer feedback to inform stakeholders and make informed business decisions.
- Provide input for product demonstrations and generate presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our product portfolio.
- Collaborate with and support our internal and external customers by developing technical proposals, system configurations / bundles, specifications, and quotations.
- Address customer inquiries related to product specifications, integration, and performance.
- Provide training materials and sessions to internal and external customers on the specifications, use cases, integration and operation of our products.
- Regularly communicate customer feedback and requirements to Product Management for the improvement and development of products.
Profile
- Education: degree in engineering, computer science, business administration or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and applications engineering within the machine vision and computer imaging market or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of industrial vision and computer imaging technologies, applications and market dynamics.
- Ideally based at our U.S. location in Greenville, South Carolina, or in the greater San Francisco Bay / Silicon Valley area. Remote work location may be considered for the right candidate.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
